A Starter is the full set — vessel, natural reeds, and your first oil. A Refill is just the oil, for a vessel you already own. Buy a Starter once per destination; after that, Refills are all you need.

Once the scent has faded: remove the reeds and set them aside, pour out any remaining oil, pour in your new Refill, then replace the reeds — flip them for the strongest first throw.

Yes. The vessel doesn't lock you into one destination — refill with the same place again, or pick a new one entirely.

Any Starter makes a complete gift on its own — vessel, reeds, and oil in one box. Bundle two destinations together at checkout if you'd like to send more than one place.

It depends on reed count, room size, and airflow — fewer reeds and a larger room will stretch it further; more reeds in a smaller room will run through it faster.

Start with 4–6 reeds for an average room. Add more for a stronger throw, or move to fewer in smaller spaces like a bathroom or entryway.

Yes — flip them every 5–7 days. The dry end pulls fresh oil up through the reed, which keeps the scent from flattening out over time.

Adding reeds and placing the vessel somewhere with airflow (near a doorway, away from a corner) increases throw. Removing reeds or tucking it into a still corner softens it.

There's no flame — reeds diffuse passively, so there's no open flame or hot wax to worry about. As with any fragrance oil, keep the vessel out of reach of pets and small children, and avoid placing it somewhere a curious paw or hand can knock it over.

No — reed diffusers work without flame or heat, so there's nothing to blow out and nothing that gets hot to the touch.

Blot (don't rub) with a clean cloth as soon as possible, since fragrance oil can mark some finishes, fabric, and wood. Placing the vessel on a small tray or coaster prevents most spill damage.
